Sustainability Manager & Production Coordinator Terra Mater Studios Secretary of the International Screen Institute

Nina Holler is a sustainability manager & production coordinator for Terra Mater Studios GmbH, where she has been involved in many award-winning productions, including the feature doc “Sea of Shadows”, which won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival, and “The Arctic: Our Last Great Wilderness”, which was Terra Mater’s very first giant screen production, and many others.

As the sustainability manager, Nina has been responsible for Terra Mater Studios’ transition into becoming a forerunning, sustainable, and green production company. She has developed and implemented the green strategy, created guidelines, and has been analysing Terra Mater’s company and production emissions since 2019.

Before joining Terra Mater Studios, Nina finished her M.A. degree in theatre, film, and media studies in Vienna, Helsinki, and Amsterdam. She also attended “Die Graphische“ in Vienna, the Austrian Federal Education and Research Institute for Graphics, Multimedia and Visual Communication. Additionally, she was a photographer for the biggest international electric car rally, the WAVE trophy, and worked for TV stations like Austrian ORF and German ProSiebenSat.1.

Nina has been involved with the International Screen Institute from the start, until she took over the position of secretary.
