International Screen Institute in Trieste 2026
As part of When East Meets West (WEMW), the International Screen Institute hosted the “Well-Being and Success for Women in Film” programme.
From 18–20 January in Trieste, we hosted the Well-Being and Success for Women in Film Inspirational Lab at When East Meets West.
Together with an inspiring group of participants, we explored sustainable leadership and what it means to lead with clarity, confidence, and care. The programmed focused on strengthening professional roles, preventing burnout, and building careers that last. Through practical tools, open discussion, and expert input, participants explored how to stay creative and well, without losing momentum.
The programme was led by our brilliant experts Katherine Dennis Gonzalez and Bettina Brokemper in cooperation with WEMW.
The Lab also offered a glimpse into ProPro – The Producers Programme for Women, one of ISI’s flagship programmes designed to empower women in film production to lead and thrive.
