The Audience Design Lab

10th – 13th June, 2025, Vienna

Led by leading Audience Designer, Síle Culley, The Audience Design Lab offers film teams an intensive few days mapping and identifying target audiences for their feature film. Supported with one-on-one sessions with industry experts, each film team will deep dive into the core of their story to connect with potential audience clusters, whilst thinking about the film’s positioning and visual identity.

Business and Legal Affairs

15th - 19th September 2025, Vienna

This program provides an overview of the legal framework essential for producing a film or TV series. It begins with early-stage development, covering financing and distribution, and concludes with strategies for reaching your audience. Key legal areas are also explored to build confidence when discussing and preparing contracts. Participants will leave with practical knowledge, confidence, and a solid understanding of the diverse legal aspects involved in film and TV contracts.

Market Ready

6th - 10th October 2025, Vienna

The programme includes a 4 1/2-day intensive module in Vienna followed up with a Market Preparation Day, and closing with a Market Review Day online.  In addition each participant will be assigned a mentor, who will work with them on a tailored strategy for their project. 
The purpose of this programme is to equip participants with the skills and support they need to understand the market landscape better, to plan and target their approach to meetings, how to take full advantage of the market offerings and leave the market with the best possible results.   The course is designed to impart a greater knowledge and understanding of the interconnected film value chain. ​

Sustainability Management

3rd - 7th November 2025, Vienna

This course is dedicated to enhancing the business environment in film and media and equips you with tools and techniques to manage your business or large media projects more sustainably. While there is already strong training in eco-friendly film and TV production, our approach takes a broader view, integrating economic, ecological, cultural, and social perspectives. The goal is to work toward a European standard certification, fostering an industry that respects both the environment and its people.
