Maciej Żemojcin
Speaker - Hands-on A.I. Producers Lab | 2026 AI film creative producer and consultantHe bridges the gap between creatives and technical nerds in a practical way for production. His 20 years of production experience, broad technological knowledge, and constant curiosity about emerging technologies, brought him to a place, where he acts as an interpreter among the diverse stakeholders of modern film teams. In the era of AI transformation, his expertise helps develop forward-looking strategies for team and process evolution. He promotes the term ‘digital storytelling,’ which he sees as the natural successor to the now-outdated concept of ‘film and TV production’.
Maciej’s career began in the early 2000s in the production department, and evolved through nearly a decade in motion control and SFX shoots, culminating in 2020 with the founding of ATM Virtual Studio in Warsaw and today extending into consultancy and AI-assisted workflows that emphasize human values and creativity.
He has spent much of his career moving between the European and Indian (Bollywood) film industries, working on productions of all scales from both regions. Maciej is one of the initiators and leads of the ‘Picture from Auschwitz’ Certified Virtual Film Location project, which sets new global standards for authentic, safe, and ethical data management in digital storytelling. The project is carried out together with Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation and Memorial.
Maciej has been a keynote speaker, mentor and consultant at events such as Berlinale, Cannes Next, WEMW Trieste, Camerimage, Black Nights, Bifan Korea, CES Vegas, Tallinn Digital Summit, VivaTech Paris and many more.
