Who we are
The International Screen Institute provides high-quality training programmes for European and international film,- tv- and media-professionals which is delivered by renowned industry practitioners who share their real-world expertise and insights. Our programmes are designed to reflect current trends and technological advancements. We are committed to fostering a dynamic and diverse learning environment that promotes innovation, collaboration, and professional excellence. The Course Directors and their teams of international industry experts deliver compact programmes of 4-5 days that are designed to be practical, hands-on, and relevant to the current industry landscape. In collaborative learning settings, we encourage exchange among participants, foster cross-cultural understanding, industry connections and networking.
Our courses, held in Vienna and conducted in English, are open to participants at every stage of their careers and offer practical experience and inspirational perspectives to enhance skills, confidence, and networks in the quickly changing media environment. We prioritize gender equality, diversity, and inclusivity, creating a supportive space for professionals of all backgrounds to thrive. We are pleased to be able to offer scholarships for professionals from lower-capacity countries, and provide additional support for every participant who may require it. Applications are welcome from professionals around the world.
Sustainability is at the heart of our operations. In 2024, all ISI courses are certified Green Events by the Austrian Eco-label, reflecting our commitment to eco-friendly and ethical practices in shaping the future of the screen industries.
